Want an ewallet because Pay Pal Doesn’t Allow Adult?

Note: as of June 08, 2015, we no longer recommend Paxum.

They have problems with their ACH leaving people stranded with no money. When transferring money from Paxum to one’s US bank account, it only ever takes 24 hours, but in their terms they ask you to wait 5-7 business days.

We hoped the problems with Paxum were a one-time occurrence, but it hasn’t been. They had problems in 2014, April of 2015, and June of 2015 and there may be more problems from others, so if you have had any problems with Paxum, please e-mail us with the details.

We are even aware of them losing wire transfers when companies paid people through Paxum.

Instead of resolving the problem quickly through accounting so accounting can trace the ACH transfer, Paxum forces the recipient to wait 5-7 business days. We find it very suspicious that they avoid helping by making their customers wait.

They don’t apologize for their lack of service, and their demeanor is indifference considering they are not providing a proper service. Most people get upset when they aren’t paid the money they worked for, so their staff should be able to handle the situation, but they just don’t seem to care.

They rarely, if ever, answer their phone now, and even when they do, there is no followup afterwards.

Paxum is based out of Montreal, Quebec which is Canada, so if you have any problems with them, we recommend you call http://www.fintrac-canafe.gc.ca/ – 1-866-346-8722

It is hard to go after companies in Quebec, which is why we think so MANY online companies are based out of Montreal.

So there are several high risk companies that can’t use Pay Pal to collect money from their customers.

Companies in the adult industry is just one example.

When that happens, any of their affiliates or workers can’t get paid with Pay Pal either.

While we never recommend ONLY using an ewallet to take payments from your customers, we do believe giving your customers more options shows you care about them.

We have now found another secondary solution to help these high risk companies, it’s called Paxum.

Their withdrawal fees to transfer your money to your bank account is higher then Pay Pal’s at $5. At the time when we first wrote this article Paxum appeared to be faster in getting the money into our bank accounts, but now Pay Pal is just as fast at one day, if not faster at times. We are only talking a US bank account, we aren’t sure how long it takes with other countries.

Paxum also offers pre-paid credit cards you can fund with your Paxum account.

If your country isn’t on this list, you can apply:

India; Sao Tome and Principe; Turkmenistan; Ecuador; Cuba; Iran, Islamic Republic of; Iraq; Libyan Arab Jamahiriya; Myanmar; Liberia; Sudan; Syrian Arab Republic; Zimbabwe; Rwanda; Vietnam; Cote D’ivoire; Congo; Somalia; Angola; Ethiopia; Yemen; Korea, Democratic People’s Republic of; Belize; The Democratic Republic of the Congo.

and the pre-paid credit card can’t be used in these countries either:

India; Cuba; Iran, Islamic Republic of; Iraq; Libyan Arab Jamahiriya; Myanmar; Liberia; Sudan; Syrian Arab Republic; Zimbabwe; Rwanda; Vietnam; Cote D’ivoire; Congo; Somalia; Angola; Ethiopia; Yemen; Korea, and the Democratic People’s Republic of; Congo.

If they catch you, your account will be closed.

But, for all other countries, you can now get yourself a pre paid Master card, plus you will have yourself an ewallet so you can get paid.
